It's the lottery. There's a chance you'll get something kinda nice -- a lot of people seem to get roombas ... I got a pretty sweet Kodak color printer/copier/scanner in my last one.

The one before that my big haul was a cheap-ass (but still kinda nice) screwdriver set.

Before that: A backpack, a mousepad and a laser-light keychain.

Second thought: fork you, woot. fork you for knowing you're going to get overloaded and not getting a server to handle the demand (I should be used to it on here, I guess). fork you for doing this. fork me for staying up an extra two hours, when my alarm's going off in 90 minutes for my 6 a.m. flight. fork the whole forking thing.

You know, I think this is all part of the kick for them. They don't want to upgrade. They want to see the rush that a BOC offering produces. They want to know people like you are out there cussing and screaming and willing to do it all again the next time they offer one.

I did get those phones from yesterday. The Queen loses an average of one phone - mobile or home - a month.

I will remain the only person I know never to have gotten a BoC.

I've never gotten one either. I think I have a better chance of winning Powerball than I do of buying a BoC.
