Watching the "Marvin Gaye: What's Going On" documentary on CNN now. Hard to believe that it's 50 years old and, given BLM and the issues we're facing as a country now, still relevant.

Easily one of best albums I possess. And between this documentary and the miniseries on Aretha on NatGeo, a nice Motown run.

Listening to the album – again.

Never understood why my mother, a devout Motown fan, didn't like the album at all.

The concept album, when done correctly, is a masterpiece. And this is one of them.

Of all the songs you could choose to give a swing injection this is the last one I'd have thought of. Well done. Jazz duo with a quite unexpected vocal. Nice performance.
