I laugh because I saw darn Yankees live in the early 1990s, co-headlining with what was left of Bad Company.

Their music was decent, and I was a big enough Styx and Night Ranger fan that I enjoyed hearing Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades do a song or two from those bands. But when Uncle Ted came on, he was already starting his political rants -- at that time about the first Gulf War. Just shut up and play "Stranglehold" already!

Haha wow now THAT'S some hatred!!!!

Sort of related but I'll always be sort of amazed that "One" barely scraped the top 10 and it's, at the very least, one of their two signature songs, if not, well, the one. I know the charts were all over the place in 1992 w/Soundscan taking over and R&B/rap finally getting its just due on the charts, but still.

I've been a pretty huge U2 fan going back to their early days. The one U2 song I have aggressively disliked from the moment I heard it is "With or Without You."

It remains by far their biggest hit.
