The Tigers staff isn't getting as much credit because Oakland's lineup scares no one. It's not like they shut down the Rangers. The Yankees really didn't hit much against Baltimore either so the Orioles staff deserves just about as much credit and they may be playing now if not for Jim Johnson. Last time the Tigers got past the A's and Yankees that staff didn't look so unhittable vs. the Cardinals so I'll wait a little before calling Anibal Sanchez a stud.

you can edit for me comma Uncle Ruckus. if you have any time between posting here and nj.com comma or is that someone else who uses your name.

Looks like we will be seeing two 88-win teams meet in the World Series. I will not be watching.

Does that mean you won't be posting too?

I hope there at least will be updates on Jetes. And will Rick Down be fired if the Yankees are shut out???

Sweeping changes are needed. I'm not satisfied with 95 wins and making the playoffs. As weak as the AL East is, NY should be winning 105-110 games.

Cashman is not developing enough good young players. The last Yankee to win Rookie of the Year was Jetes in 1996. The last All-Star player they developed was Cano and he was signed 11 years ago.

Decreasing them gives the Yanks a better shot.
