MLB '24 Postseason thread


I always like the stories of guys who play for teams that won the World Seies, but during the season, only pitched a couple of innings or just pinch-ran for a few games that year and are never seen again until the next year with a different team.

And then they get surprised at a little pre-game ceremony when the World Series-winning team presents them with ring. A cool moment of kindness.
 
Ever since the Dodgers won the World Series and I've been thinking about their "I Love LA" outro I've had this exact Family Guy bit stuck in my head and now I hope you do too.
