MLB '24 Postseason thread

The part I will most enjoy is the knowledge that had he seen this game while alive, George Steinbrenner absolutely would have murdered someone tonight.

If Steinrenner was still alive, Boone would have been fired three years ago

I had a long day at work yesterday, got home around 8, popped a gummy and melted into the couch. I actually thought I was hallucinating when I saw the Cole/Rizzo fiasco in the 5th inning. I didn't think that sort of forkery was possible on the sport's biggest stage. I have no ill will toward Cole, but the Yankees as a whole can suck it. Caveat to add that I don't think anybody in the American League could have beaten that Dodgers team. Everyone who made the playoffs had significant flaws. Just took until the end for the Yanks' flaws to really show.

Today was emotional.

My dad lost his brother and it's hitting him hard.

And just now we just watched the Dodgers win a World Series, as father and son in the same room, for the first time since 1981.

Moments after this photo he began talking about his brother, my uncle, with sad affection.

I told my dad I loved him for the first time in probably 30 years.

What was your dad's thoughts on Jacksonville State - Liberty??
