2022 college basketball coaching carousel of progress

Rival coaches will miss beating Martin's teams.

Missouri's a big time job.

We have a strong-ass vacancy in Baton Rouge.

An honest question - if you are a coach who gets fired - even for cause - do you still collect any bonuses or incentives - like winning a league regular season, or qualifying for the tourney?

I'm sure he's a delightful guy and a good basketball coach, but I wouldn't trust Will Wade to tell me the sun was shining outside.
In the college basketball world of 2022 I would not trust any successful college basketball coach. Trusting a collage basketball coach is like trusting the stripper who says you are handsome. Both a college basketball coach and a stripper must lie to economically survive.

I'd rather recruit to a mid-tier Atlantic 10 job in a town that cares than some dead end big city school like St. John's, DePaul or even Georgetown.

I maintain that Dayton is a sleeping giant. If the pandemic doesn't derail that Obie Toppin season, it might've come to fruition. Large, motivated fanbase in largish mid-sized city with one of the country's best arenas.
