2022 Stanley Cup playoffs thread

Lehkonen with the clincher in consecutive conference finals and the Cup decider in two years.

The parade is Thursday and will follow the Broncos route. I'll be in the office (somewhat). Should be a nice crowd, but not like the Broncos in 2016.

And nice tweet.

Big push for Blink 182 to appear Thursday, but don't know if it will happen.

The crowd would go ape-shirt if Blink was there. Fly them in. Put them up at the Brown Palace. It will already be crazy (Broncos parade in 2016 can't be topped).

It's parade day in Denver and holy smokes. I live about 15 miles from downtown and was going to work in the office today. Went to get on the light rail and there were tons and tons of people. Even with extra cars, they are packed in like sardines. Watching the coverage, there are an insane number of people downtown -- and we're an hour away from the parade starting. Civic Center Park is already jammed.

So ... I'm back at home working and watching. But Denver definitely turning out for this thing.

I saw an estimate yesterday of 200,000 people. Seemed super low. I know it won't be the Super Bowl 50 Broncos, but Denver loves this stuff.

Also, even with tons of transplants, I think Denver still has flashbacks to not winning a title until 1996. We never know if it will happen again and are always sort of surprised when it does!

I bet :D

But that's awesome.
