2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs

Did I read the Sens let go Troy Mann as head coach at Belleville this season ... or maybe it was last year? Knew Mann a little bit back in the day.

Yes. It was very sudden - rumours that he had shared scouting reports with other organizations.

LOL! That's one way to get canned ... though you do note it was rumored. Interesting, to say the least.

I get a vibe the future is now. He's a good coach. Not overly impressed, either, but maybe it will be a good match.
He's a good coach who just wasn't the right fit in Washington. He's proven it in the past.

If this holds tonight, there will be only one player who has hoisted the Stanley Cup twice at T-Mobile Arena. Figure most here will get the answer...

EDIT: one player, I'm an idiot

4-1. I think we're done here.

Was nice for Denver to hold the NBA and NHL titles for about 24 hours.

I enjoyed what appeared to be the Panthers leaving early to beat traffic, followed by the Golden Knights getting about 20 too many men on the ice penalties in the final 30 seconds.
Can't recall ever seeing that before. Usually teams will still make a token effort right to the end even if the outcome is decided.
