2023-24 Running NBA thread

Seeing tonight's garish color combinations for the tournament games has me curious: How many floors do NBA teams have? Do they constantly repaint or otherwise decorate them?

Pretty sure they are pop in place floors. You have to consider when they need to switch out for hockey or concerts or other events.

Every team has its own "In-Season Tournament" court, so you won't see them much longer.

Warriors-Kings tonight is like watching the last pool play game in the World Cup. Can the Warriors keep up that 12-point margin, or will Sacramento advance?

The in-season tourney is great, and will get better going forward. Competitive people like to win. This GSW/Kings 4th quarter is testament to it.

Kudos to the NBA for trying something.

Calling it the NBA In-Season Tournament is lame as heck. Even lamer than the College Football Playoff.

I would prefer the Mello Yello Cup or the Alabama Death Row Cup as a sponsor.

Alabama's death penalty used to come via an electric chair nicknamed Yellow Mama. Now that would be a court design worth seeing.
