2023-24 Running NBA thread

I couldn't watch the end of the Knicks-Sixers game until this morning. That was a complete rock fight. I do think that Maxie is a total stud and that if they had beaten the Knicks, they would have had a chance against the Celtics in 2 rounds if Embiid was able to heal more.

With the Dubs and Lakers kaput, this Cali boy's rooting for the Knicks now. This year's team seems to be a likable bunch to cheer for.

I'm down to the T-Wolves. Least objectionable fanbase. They don't offend me and its been awhile since Minnesota has won anything.

I don't have a problem with NBC taking the NBA rights - but why not throw TNT a bone and give them two weeknight games a week? Let Charles and the gang keep it going. Is NBC going to air games on weeknights?

I like that Wolves team, will root for them. Don't usually root for a team that just swept mine, but here we are.

I do wonder if the NBA might be in for a LeBron hangover. After he and Curry exit - the Nike hype machine has to create some new stars pronto. The banana boat crew is singing "daylight come and we wanna go home."

The cable model is broken - I wonder how that Turner/NBC/ESPN joint streaming venture plays into the NBA stuff.
