2023-24 Running NBA thread

There's another Porter brother at Pepperdine who has entered the portal. Mizzou is trying to get him to come home.

Ain't a way in the world Doc is back in Milwaukee.
He could win this series, and I'm not sure he'd be back.

Bucks are not going to pay 4 head coaches next year. He's back win or lose.

Giannis, Dame and Middleton have played a total of 8 games together.

Bucks are just too old and too slow even with the Freak. Without him, they are a heck squad.

Yep. Going to have to get creative to get younger and faster since they essentially don't control their first-round draft pick until 2031.

Lopez, Portis, and/or Connaughton could be gone … Middleton maybe?

Hindsight is 20/20 … I didn't like the Bud firing last year but understood why. I obviously liked the Dame trade but what I feared is happening right now; no true elite point guard like Jrue. Icing on the cake he ended up with Boston.

Bucks will definitely look a bit different next season.

I loved Dame in Portland but he was starting to break down.

And as someone who has watched a heck of a lot of Portland basketball over the past few years…

Dame greatly benefited from the fact that virtually no one outside of Oregon actually watches Blazer games. Damn good player, but not who you think you are getting when all you see are the Sportscenter highlights.
