2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season Running Thread

I'm not sure if it was "expansion gaps" or something else, but on I-40 eastbound around Sevierville my wheels hit some big gap and caused more than $700 worth of damage. An appeal to the TDOT was denied because I could not prove it was negligence on their part.

That sounds like a concrete issue, perhaps where an expansion joint cracked away or something. That sucks, though.

That was just some big ash pot holes a while back between exits 407-412.
 
Mine was about 5-6 years ago. It had to be an expansion joint, because we regularly encountered a number of them. Hard to imagine other cars could run over the same place I did without some incurring damage.
