2025 MLB running thread

On another note, I'd forgotten how much I despise AppleTV's too-cool treatment of baseball games.
I watched Mets-astros (mets win! Bullpen looks great!) and have to say Randazzo and Willis were good to very good as a team. Willis is definitely very strong. I might think Randazzo was solid because he used to do the Mets all the time so I'm kind of used to his voice. I kind of like all the extras Apple TV has, like hit/walk/run probabilities (depending on the situation) in the lower right corner of the screen. Also, they seem to have some better camera angles than most broadcasts, like close up views of the batter or pitcher, etc.
On the other hand, that had to be one of the most inconsistent performances by a plate umpire calling balls and strikes.

I might be the only person in America who thought the Trop was a cozy place when I caught a game there.
I saw two games at the Trop and while it wasn't Camden Yards it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I thought the concourses were much nicer than what we had at Rogers Centre before they fixed them up.

Glad I wasn't the only one who thought watching the Rays play a home game outdoors was weird.

Yankess start opening day with their first ever opening day lead off homer. Yankees second day leadoff spots say hold my beer
