Greetings from the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, where I will be staying for the next 5-7 days.

(This place is amazing. You can order "room service up to 5 times a day and the movie channel is loaded)

The transplant is still in limbo due to post surgery logistics. I need caregivers 24/7 for three months here in Jax and that's still being worked out.

What's been happening lately is not being able to walk 100 feet w/o losing breathing and complete lack of energy, along with a nasty trip to the ER with an another AFIB episode.

So today, the doctors looked me over and said we're going keep and fix you. So here.

The other cool thing about being in the cardiac unit and being able to talk with those recovering from heart transplants. It's darn inspiring.

So maybe I have a couple of games and writes left in me. I was cool with a spring game being my farewell but I kind of want to hang around now.

Once again, if you can, send some energy my way by hosting one, putting some Boss on and crushing the hell out of whatever your doing now.

Photos of the room service menu and what the meals look like?

It's wonderful to hear it sounds like you're going to get the care you need! And also, that you're being inspired and wanting to stick around. Let the place work its magic, keep a positive frame of mind, and you crush the surgery process and your recovery.

I send love and warm wishes.

And I'll take the pot roast and a side of the creamed spinach.

Go get 'em.
