All-Purpose, Never-Ending Soccer Thread

Stephen Hunt, Irish international, has pretty much taken the job from him. Hunt did a great job last year, making Convey expendable.

UEFA Cup has gone to extra time in Glasgow.

And the top goals of the EPL season are being listed ... http://www.theoffside.com/world-football/20062007-english-premier-league-goals-of-the-season.html

As long as I get the No.10 and get to play in the hole behind the forwards, I'm in.

Big Sam in at Newcastle. So much for that time off. DMB will be fine back at PSV, although I think a Premier League club will take a look at him after his strong finish to the season.

Onyewu will be fine, it's a shame he couldn't stay and get coached by Allardyce.

I'll take Center Back. Hold you knuckleheads together like Terry.

Glad to see Sam end up with a legit side. Always seemed like a decent guy.

Well, I can play anywhere I'm needed. All my years in goal probably ticket me for GK duties.

BTW, end of the Prem. season equals major savings at WorldSoccerShop.com. They've got Liverpool jerseys down to $34. I'm considering ordering a Gerrard.

Hey, nice job by the Red Leafs to beat Houston tonight. Great to see.

And Inky, my wallet is cursing you as we speak. biscuit.

Tell your wallet it's only the yellow jersey down to $34.

Oh, I wouldn't wear a Liverpool shirt if it was stapled to my back. (YOU HEAR THAT, GROOMSY???). But I'm guessing there are other good deals, too.

i'll take either right back or right outside mid. the left foot's not so good.

i assume we're playing 4-4-2? or are we trying to clog the middle in a 4-5-1? or are we just flat-out attacking in a 4-3-3?
