College football week 12 thread: All the Brigham Young Dudes

I don't like looking at two teams and not knowing who's playing.

Even if you have two teams with relatively similar color schemes, IF they wear the regular uniform you can usually tell. But if Wisconsin is playing Indiana and the teams are wearing alternate shirt, forget it.

Florida State is going to wear turquiose this weekend I believe. The basketball team has done it for a couple of years. It's to honor the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Native American Heritage because turquoise represents harmony, friendship, and fellowship in Native American culture.

As uniforms go it doesn't look bad at all, just out of place in comparison to the traditional stuff.

What do the stars represent?

You're on double secret probation for not knowing that!

And why is a Tennessee state flag used for a college scene that was supposed to be set in Pennsylvania but was actually shot in Eugene, Ore.?

Although the film takes place in Pennsylvania, a Tennessee flag is shown in the courtroom. This is because the set decorator was unable to find a large enough Pennsylvania flag for the scene, and the blue Oregon state flag wouldn't work, because it had "State of Oregon" text on the upper part. So the set decorator used the most generic flag he could find, which turned out to be the Tennessee state flag.

Watching the rankings show and kudos to the stylist for Booger and Joey Galloway.

Harmony, friendship and fellowship. Just the things they've displayed in their ongoing litigation against their conference.

The Tennesseans who are super into the Tri-Star logo are usually the ones who want to sell off West Tennessee for pennies on the dollar. Which would leave them with two stars. Go figure.

West Tennessee is 40% Black. The rest of the state is 10% Black. Interesting.
