And boy, did they ever mutilate "Heard it Through the Grapevine." These group numbers really suck.

Oh, and Lugs is absolutely right about Jordin.

Bag on her for "Living On a Prayer,'' if you want. She'll never cut a song like that in her career.

Just as one would hope Blake never does a song like that craptacular one they both had to sing in the finals.

And too bad for Lakisha there wasn't a Gladys Knight week. And how did the rocker girl ever make it to the top 10?

True story: I make it to my hotel room around 8:30, and had asked my mom to call me with any duets that happened before I got here. I was on the phone and didn't click over, but my mom's voice mail included this: "Blake is doing a duet with Doug E. Fresh, whoever that is."

I told her those final three words were the most hurtful she's ever said to me in 31 years.
