Bengals-Rams: Running Super Bowl LVI thread

Pittsburgh radio host: 'Loser mentality' to celebrate Bengals after Super Bowl loss

Looks like quite a few Bengals fans, and Aditi Kinkhabwala, fell into giving Pittsburgh sports radio talk show host Colin Dunlap the attention he desired. Dunlap mocked the fans giving the Bengals a big welcome home after losing the Super Bowl.

I can't say I would want to celebrate the team after they lost, but I'm not sure Steelers' fans have much room to talk given the directions in which those two teams seem to be headed.

Fans greeting losing teams when they arrive home after a big game has been going on for as long as I can remember. It's a way of saying "hey, we're still with you. Thanks for the ride." It is praiseworthy behavior as fan behaviors go.

Yeah, Bum Phillips's famous "next year we're going to kick the son of a bench in" line was at a welcome home rally after an AFC championship game loss. Especially given the Bengals' history and the run they were on this is fine.

I don't have a problem with it. I just wouldn't do it.
