Classic albums?

These kids nowadays (grouchy old man voice) have a hard time envisioning just putting on whole albums as background noise for everyday activities.

Or, playing complete albums at parties -- and people actually paying reasonable attention. About 1995 was when that started to fade away.

When Ozzy is not allowed to hang out with you...wow. The Geddy Lee "most people need to be sober at some point in the day" quote was hilarious.
The article alludes to the really big kick in the nuts. Michael's older brother, Rudolf, has made countless millions playing for The Scorpions. Michael could rapidly figure out songs by ear, and Rudolf would pay him to decipher and teach them to him. The Scorpions best album, Lovedrive, was the one to which Michael most heavily contributed. Rudolf got the fame and riches and Michael has received, well, an amount inversely proportional to his talent and artistic contributions.

Michael's first solo years were akin to Steve Vai's Passion and Warfare. Rudolf is Steve Vai had he stayed in Alcatrazz or Whitesnake (and forgotten he was Steve Vai).

Yes, that is Cozy Powell on drums.

Record producer: "look, no one knows which of you is the woman in the group."
BN: "how about we do our album cover topless?"
Record producer: "we tried. Still can't. Stevie, how about you grow a mustache?"
Stevie: "I'm the forking woman!"
Record producer: "wait, the one named Lindsey is the guy?"
Lindsey: "I can grow a mustache."
