LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels had his ankle dinged up against Texas A&M, and their best running back also did not play.
If Daniels can't go against Georgia, that game might get really ugly. Not only does Daniels provide a lot of offense with his running, as well as a ton of leadership, the freshman backup (Garrett Nussmeier) is a statue who has not looked good at all whenever he's been in there in mop up duty.

Always wondered why, if it just means more, the SEC is still in the Saturday afternoon slot for its title game and not prime time?

Used to be in prime time when it first started. But Big Ten, ACC and Pac-12 didn't have title games, so SEC had the night to itself.

Then Big 12 moved to prime time (it has since moved back to early afternoon) and Big Ten and ACC added prime time title games, so I'm guessing SEC still wanted a Power 5 slot to itself, which it has.

Akron @ Buffalo was postponed by the huge snowstorm two weeks ago. Tens still clamored for the game to be played, so it was rescheduled. Buffalo has something to play for, it must win to get bowl-eligible. I can't imagine anyone at 1-10 Akron is too enthused about the season lasting another week, and a five-hour bus ride to play before a crowd of about 1,000.

MAC fraction.

And I forgot to add, watching the game in what has to be the worst stadium in FBS, one originally built for the track events of the old Empire State Games. The seats are so far from the field, you may as well be in Cheektowaga.

I've kept my promise to sit quietly and calmly and wait for the cards to play out for USC. Two down, one more to go. I remain calm.

However, a month ago I came on here to proclaim that all of you easterners were missing out on Caleb Williams. I posted his overwhelming stats. From the second game of the season, I knew the Trojans offense was unstoppable, because Williams was so elusive and his corps of receivers is unmatched in college football. Williams is incredible. The Heisman should be a runaway. Y'all overlooked him for two months.

I try my damnedest not to make any reference to State College, Pa., here ... but Manny Diaz not being on this list is a travesty.

DeWayne "Debo" McBride, UAB RB, ends the season leading in rushing. 11 games (out sick once), 233 carries, 19 TD, 1713 yards rushing. Second and Third place had 328 and 308 carries. 7.35 ypc.

Shoutout to Israel Abanikanda of Pitt, 9th, who had 20 TD on 239 carries and beat him out for most rushing TD's.

I suspect that whether he returns for his senior season depends on who is hired at HC. Couldn't blame the kid for testing the water in the NFL. If he's ashessed as 3rd round or better he should jump. I'm not sure how good the NFL market is for RB's who don't block well, though.
