College football week 14 thread: The Greatest Story Ever Toad

Covered a Virginia Tech-Akron game there my senior game of college. Hokies were 39-point faves, won by three. I had never seen Beamer pissed off before but he was fuming after that one.

Well, shoot. Pink Floyd played Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City. (Site of Jackie Robinson's first MLB game.)

I think Ohio law now states Akron must keep the stadium.
Even in a brutal assault case like that?
Story says the place was ravaged and splattered.

Your God isn't everyone's God, Akron. Its life looks hopeless!

Yep. But they're not better than Ohio State beating Penn State, and all of them are worse than Tennessee's best wins.

USC simply has a built-in advantage of almost NEVER having to face a legitimate Top 5ish team in its conference schedule. And they're even hard pressed to face even a top-10 team in conference.

USC didn't lose to an unranked, four-loss team by five touchdowns, either. Tennessee has absolutely no claim on anything other than a decent NYD bowl game following the debacle.

USC has never played an FCS school, and plays nine P5 conference games and Notre Dame every single year. It doesn't have to take a back seat to anyone in scheduling, ever.

And I believe USC has done just fine against Ohio State and the remainder of the Big Ten over the years.

Right now it's taking a back seat to about 56 other teams with tougher schedules, including everybody but Clemson in the CFP top 10:

1. Georgia (47)
2. Michigan (39)
3. TCU (35)
4. USC (57)
5. Ohio State (34)
6. Alabama (8)
7. Tennessee (7)
8. Penn State (28)
9. Clemson (60)
10. Kansas State (32)
