The story does not make clear that Ferris won in 2021 and 2022. Harding won it last year.

Which makes the delay in punishment even more unusual.

I - and many other folks - have taken stuff off the walls at every NCAA event I've ever worked. The signs have the year and location and logo of that tournament. They can't be used again. That's nit-picking by the NCAA right there.
