Great doc for those who haven't seen it:One of the highlights of my career was a one-on-one interview with Go-Gos bass player Kathy Valentine in the community room at a grocery store in Austin. Her memoir had just been published and she was about to go on a book tour that ended up getting axed because of Covid. She was so very nice.
I may have turned the volume up with whenever this song (or other of theirs) came on the radio.
Didn't give a F then in my early 20s, sure as heck don't give a F now 20 years later.
Still break out a few of their CDs every once In awhile.
End of thread. What do I win?
(And, yes, watch the video for your enhanced pleasure.)
No joke. Seen them half a dozen times. They tossed Oz Fox, their bass player a few years back for losing his way (divorce!) but he was replaced by Perry Richardson from Firehouse, another mark of shame for me.
i live to serveYou know, I was thinking of making some kind of "why would I worry what other people think" post... but fork it, man, you just made that impossible. I tip my cap.

One of you people posted you liked the Pina Colada song a while back.
Show yourself.
It wasn't me, but that song is so jacked up I actually kind of like it. The song is catchy in a shallow way to the point of being offensive, but the people are really forked up to each other.
