Favorite band/musician you "might" worry others think is uncool

I've never been particularly religious, but I always loved Stryper. And of all those '80s glam metal bands who are still putting out stuff, I think they have probably the best material right now.
And just a correction: Oz Fox is the group's lead guitarist. Tim Gaines is the bassist they let go.
See, I'm just a poseur. @mpcincal is the real loser here. TEAR HIM ASUNDER.*

so ashamed

Michael Sweet has been taking more of the leads since Oz Fox's brain surgery. gosh darn, he can play. Almost unfair considering the vocal talent he has, too.

I have pretty "cool" taste in music, or what passed for cool in 2012. Which makes my wife laugh even harder when she hears me playing a Mumford & Sons song right after a Nick Cave song and right before a TV on the Radio song.

It's so schlocky, but I think hits a chord in my evangelical past part of my mind.

My parents bought Gerry Rafferty's follow-up album in 1980 (The Royal Mile) thinking it would be the absolute bomb and it was absolute crap instead.

Love the response to this. I was a little worried this week to check it. I *might have* been drinking when I posted originally. (Shocker.)

Back to YouTube...

Loverboy was hot to trot but more and more I find people dissing them.

But they owned the forking world for a hot minute or two.
