It's not that different when there are people here suggesting I should've done whatever the boss said simply because "he's the boss." No. He was absolutely, 100 percent wrong and manipulated into furthering a blatant political agenda in this case.

People can and will think what they want of me for it. I can sleep at night regardless.

Well, that changes things quite a bit. But I still think the EE/Publisher should have been in on the initial decision if it was that big of an issue. Now, HE sounds unprofessional.
