Don't know about the beta or the new version, but the "old" Firefox that I use imported all my IE settings, bookmarks and all. I'm sure the new one didn't change that feature.

You're right, Buck, but betas are a whole different beast.
 
I just downloaded the beta and it did keep all my bookmarks. Some of my extensions like the Google Toolbar didn't work, so I switched back. The spell check feature did work nicely.
