I have returned

Boom: The Royals have been great fun to watch and I wouldn't mind if they won but I know Bruce Bochy, Righetti and Sabean so I do root for the Giants. But either way, it's a fun Series so far and I am enjoying it.
How has everything been here in my absence?

I'm kinda in the same place. Being a Yankee fan I have a soft spot for Rags.

SJ has had some drop off in member participation. I think some of the long term
posters just gave up any hope of your return and left. I always believed that you would be back. ;)

So does Jeter have your first ballot vote in 5 years?

While he won't be unanimous (an oldtimer once told me even Jesus Christ wouldn't be unanimous), Jeter definitely will have my vote if I'm still around in five years, which I'm planning to be.

Then he probably muttered something about DiMaggio having to wait a couple years to get inducted. I think he went in on the third try.

That was one I heard a couple times when Seaver or Ryan didn't get 100 percent.

It also hurt Jesus that he could not hit a 1 iron.

Of course Jesus Christ wouldn't be unanimous. He can't hit a curveball.

Only because he's got us in his hands. #jesuscan'tplayrugby

While Jesus can't hit a 1-iron, He hath pinpoint accuracy with these new hybrids out now. Routinely into Lucifer's pocket on the back nine.

Welcome back, sir.
