She's not wrong. Most big companies use what's known as a "flag of convenience" where they register their ships in a smaller country for tax breaks of millions per year per ship.

Really wouldn't be surprised if Russia funded this, encouraged it or whatever. Getting Ukraine off of the top spot in the Global Threat Top 10 would go a long way to helping their efforts, because the West will go all in with Israel - especially the GOP.

If it was "organic" - Palestinians would have been commemorating the war with parades, protests and Israel would have moved in and started busting heads spurring violence on. Such a blatant, coordinated attack really doesn't do any one on the Palestinian side any favors.
