Mother won't let school deny her son his soccer scholarship

She sues just as hard as the varsity moms. No orange slices, though.

I've never seen where a school won't let juniors play on JV. That's seems kind of shortsighted that a kid could be a varsity contributor the next year.

So they just promote worse sophomores and juniors than a rising senior to fill open spots?

I've known schools and entire conferences/states that don't let juniors play JV.

It's common in Florida, for example, for team sports. The high school at which I taught had freshmen teams, JV teams (sophomores only, though good freshmen could play as the JV season is longer). A junior and not varsity caliber? No team for you.
