I thought I had heard of all the obscure D-I hockey schools but I had to look up Bentley. (Suburban Boston in case you were curious.)

Atlantic Hockey Association, with Holy Cross, Sacred Heart, Niagara, Canisius, Army, Air Force, RIT, American International, Robert Morris and Mercyhurst. Sort of the WAC of college hockey.

Bentley will be the 16th seed, as it won the conference tournament after finishing third in the regular season behind Holy Cross and Sacred Heart.

Three former Pioneers were playing for the Red Wings top farm club, Grand Rapids of the AHL, this season. D Shai Buium, Zeev's older brother, D Antti Tuomisto and F Carter Mazur, who was called up to Detroit and sustained a dislocated elbow on his second shift

Have tickets to the national championship game. No vested interest in the teams. Just looking forward to it.

On the women's side, Wisconsin wins another title in a dramatic way.

Down 3-2 in the closing seconds, Ohio State player covers the puck with her glove in the crease … penalty shot awarded.

Couldn't tell for sure on my phone, but did the same player who scored on the penalty shot get the game-winner in OT?

Good for the Badgers!

The sequence that led to the penalty shot being called.

Gordon Bombay is jealous of that deke.
