Fall Out Boy has done an updated cover of "We Didn't Start the Fire" from about 1990 to now.
It's not terrible, but they bounce around a little too much, going from the 90s to the 2020s and back again. Unlike the original, where it went chronologically and built toward the events of the 80s in a way that did feel like a fuse had been lit and things were exploding by the end.
The new one also has no mention of COVID, which seems like a miss.

I got a portable AM-FM radio for my 15th birthday. My musical tastes at the time were governed by the big Top 40 powerhouses in Chicago, WLS, WCFL and the soul station WGRT. But then I tuned into the FM band and found some weird shirt going on. One of the first tunes I heard was Richie Havens singing "Handsome Johnny." It turned my head around.
