NFL Week 14 -- Let Love Rule

A great Sunday for me. Mizzou beats Kansas, Rams beat Bills and Chiefs beat Chargers.

The Chiefs are 12-1 and I swear to god I don't know if they're any good.
They just won 19-17 for the second straight week. That's creepy.
With four games to be played, they appear to have tied the record for wins in a season by ≤ 7 points (10). The 1978 Oilers also won 10 times by ≤ 7 points.

Going back to Week 9 of last year, and including the playoffs, 20 of their last 26 games have been decided by one score (eight points or less).

I think I asked this last season: How many teams would trade their quarterback for Mahomes?

Chiefs just need to win two out of the final four to get to 14-3, which should be enough for the 1. Buffalo would win the tiebreak there, but they'll have to win out to get to 14-3, including beating Detroit in Detroit. Pittsburgh could get there in theory, but the Steelers still play the Eagles, Ravens and Chiefs, so it's unlikely. If Chiefs beat Cleveland and Houston the next two weeks, that should do it.

I'd love to see him in a Jet uniform, but not to see the team succeed. I want to see if the institutional rot, bad juju, and green and white curse are once and for all shown to be too much to ever be overcome.

In looking up Chiefs stats, I came across something I had missed at the time: The 2022 Vikings were outscored while going 13-4 in the regular season.

Any truth to the rumor that the Giants are going to start Luigi Mangione at QB this Sunday?
