No more aspartame in Diet Pepsi

Arguing over which is better for you - diet or regular soda - is like arguing who has the fastest Dodge Caravan. They're carbonated shirt water loaded with chemicals that have names you've never seen anywhere else. If you truly had an interest in a healthy drink you should probably drink water.

Just be careful not to drink too much water, that can be bad for you too.

The logical next step is not, "Aspartame and sugar are the same."

Hundreds of studies have been conducted. Aspartame is perfectly healthy. This is nothing but mommy-led Internet hysteria, perhaps with an assist from Neil Young.

I had a dream that the Mommy Brigade broke down my door and searched my refrigerator. Neil Young wasn't with them.

I'm just so sick of everybody telling me that nothing I drink is any good for me other than water.

I have a hard time drinking large amounts of water. I need some flavor. I started buying the Vitamin Water zero drops and people started telling me that was unhealthy.

I drink coffee and Vitamin Water and I remember someone telling me recently, "Regular water is better for you than Vitamin Water."

I wanted to punch them in the face.

It just annoys the shirt out of me.

"Coming up next on News at 11, we'll tell you how toothpaste could rot your kid's teeth. And how, believe it or not, exercising can be DEADLY!"

This whole thread reminds me of the old Denis Leary bit about smoking.

" 'Well, you know, smoking takes 10 years off your life.' Yeah, well, it's the 10 worst years, isn't it? It's the ones at the end. It's the wheelchair, dialysis, adult diaper years. You can forking have those."

Brilliant bit he stole from Bill Hicks

I just remember in high school trying to cut weight for wrestling and being told that all I should eat was carbs, and the doctor would have told us the same thing.

I'm guessing we'd be told something different today.

And apparently some time between 1990 and today, eggs went from being the unhealthiest thing on the planet to a food that has been described by Tim Ferriss and the Bulletproof Diet guy as "just about the perfect food"
