No first-hand knowledge of Howard, and not to be all cancel-culturey, but how in the world do you do something like this and not be fired?

Especially when he's barely working for the station. Just doing a Saturday show from 8-10 a.m. ... this isn't your morning drive powerhouse brand. You're not losing much if you cut him loose

It says a lot that the guy has worked in the same market for 40 years and you can barely find anyone who will say a good word about him. Especially considering he HAS done quite a bit for charity.

Whenever I think of him calling himself "The King," I think of that line from The Big Lebowski: "Now, that's a name no one would self apply where I come from."
