President Trump 2.0: The NEW one and only politics thread

I'm not watching the coronation, but the timing of this thread — slightly before the official change of power — reminds me of the Biden inauguration. Roberts administered the oath 10 minutes early, at 11:50 am. So Biden says, "So help me God," and starts his speech. According to the Constitution, power doesn't change until noon.
I never heard anyone on tv mention this. Always wondered if there was a conscious decision to do the oath early. And if so, why?

I'm watching this the same way I watched when Pitt forced out Jaime Dixon, then replaced him with "definite upgrade" Kevin Stallings.

Arms crossed, ready to say, "hey don't bench to me, you WANTED this."
