President Trump 2.0: The NEW one and only politics thread

Democrats in Congress, at least some of them, have exploded with anger at Trump lots of times. The key phrase in that sentence is "in both parties." There are still foreign policy hawk Republicans in the Senate especially. They held their noses and voted to confirm Hegseth. Now they feel humiliated. Will they do anything about it? Doubtful. But every time a Republican Congressperson criticizes the administration, it weakens Trump. Also, the media loves "both parties" indignation. It'll keep the story moving.

This still kills me about newspaper editorial decisions.

It's not 1995 any more. Refusing to publish something isn't going to make the content go away. There's a whole outlet, called the Internet, that someone can publish the banned content.
Its not about banning content, but saving advertising dollars.

The Houthis? Who they? The what? Guess we all know what prompted the rage-tweeting last night. But then again, the man considers keeping classified material in his bathroom as top-end security.

As with many forkups, imagine the Faux Noise reaction if a Democratic administration did the same thing.

This is where Dems should be demanding to go on every single conservative talk show to talk about this and then mocking them if they refuse to have them on.

Instead, it'll be some strongly-worded statements .

Of the 13 House districts with the largest estimated Social Security payouts in 2023 based on the December 2023 figures, 12 were represented by Trumpists. Yet Donny and the Muskovites seem eager to slash benefits.
