RIP Apollo Creed

How realistic is it for Craig T Nelson playing an auto executive to hold his own against Carl Weathers in a fight?

That scene in Rocky IV where Creed dies absolutely had a crushing effect on 10-year old me. Great piece of cinema. So 80s.

Carl Weathers also was in Terminator. RIP
One minute you're dancing on the stage with James Brown, the next minute you're dead. I still crank that Brown song once in awhile.

Not exactly sure what audience they were seeking in this main title - but I watched it - mainly because it was filmed in Oakland.

Morrison was, and had a decent career. Light heavyweight champion Antonio Tarver was also Rocky's main opponent in "Rocky Balboa."
Not sure either looked the part as much as Carl Weathers did.
He looked the part of a heavyweight champion more than the man who ruled the division at that time, Larry Holmes, did. (Not to mention the blimps that followed him like Tim Witherspoon, Tony Tubbs, James Broad and others.)
