Not at all. Might be my favorite Weird Al cut of all time. In fact, it was from his Instagram that I found out (Kihn permitted the parody on the condition that he got to play along -- he drives the convertible at the end)

"Jeopardy" was one solid funk driven number, impossible not to sing along to it. I have it on almost every mix I have created. Kihn probably qualifies as a 'one hit wonder' but that song is a HOFer.

The Breakup Song and Jeopardy make him at least a two-hit wonder. But as I mentioned on the musicians thread, he was a local Bay Area star for a number of years before he was "discovered" in 1981.

Rest Kihn Peace, Greg. They just don't write 'em like that anymore.

Years ago back in a Gannett newsroom, we made up a musical over some beers, One of the songs was to the tune of Jeopardy and the pressures of mainstreaming.

RIP Greg Kihn. I feel he would have enjoyed our work.

Really rare for the 80s too. The underpinning of that song - the bash and the very-rarely-heard-in-the-80s clavinet - belong to the 70s. Not sure I can think of another 80s song with clavinet in it.

Always loved this song, still do. Saw him live back in the day, so it always takes me back.

Looks like this live performance was overdubbed, but I don't care for a forum thread.
It's just good to post a performance video so you can watch the band play to the crowd.
