Roe v. Wade to be overturned?

Can you imagine being forcibily raped, then being forced to carry that forward to childbirth, then find yourself sued for visitation rights ... and, JFC, maybe even custody rights?

Of course you can't. Because you're not a woman.

I'll keep banging this drum: This ain't about kids. We all know how the GQP abandons kids once they're no longer fetuses.

It's just another forking power grab. Because they hate women, and fear them, because of the great strides they've made.

They'll clutch their bibles and beat women into the ground. And then the blacks again, and then the browns again.

And then the gays and the undecideds, and then the fatties and the cripples and the retards, and then even the geezers, too.

So now the big question is this: How soon will they come after you, too?

Except he countered Obama's tweet lamenting how people's rights were taken away by wanting Obama—a Black man by the way—to then talk about the elimination of a precedent that oppressed Black people as if the two things were some how the same thing. His mistake was not forgetting people would call him a racist. His mistake was making the comparison in the first place and thinking he should Tweet it out. But please, tell me I'm wrong for thinking we shouldn't make excuses for oppressors.

Obama: This undid decades of precedent.
Cornyn: Precedent doesn't necessarily mean it's good precedent. Would you say that Brown v. Board of Ed was wrong because it overturned Plessy?

That is what I believed he was trying to say. At least it followed from Obama's tweet.

What you posted is entirely your creation.

You might be right, but I've never seen anything to suggest that John Cornyn isn't a racist and I've seen less to suggest that he deserves the benefit of the doubt. Ever. For anything.

Trying very hard to not wish people ill right now.

Women are going to needlessly die because if this.

I've collected stories of vindictive creeps: clergy who wanted to control their female congregants, what I call the Wichita wealthy who did damage control when their girlfriends threatened to go to their wives with news of a baby, the bitter, jealous hags who looked like unclaimed loaves on day eight at the bread store. I know how this works out. This is where and when the Eldritch Horrors chewed through the straps and took over, May God have mercy on us all.
All the stories, like ivanka's, need to come out. People don't believe this happens. They should know how many abortions their idols are responsible for since they are now denying the same to others.

If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?

This is SOOOO good. Thank you.

We create a DNA database of everyone.
Mom has child out of wedlock and the father is found.
If he refuses to marry the woman, 33% of his salary goes to her automatically every month.
This goes to all existing children.

Hobbs will get ripped off the books in hours.

Welcome to Gilead.

@lakefront it will be similar to the way things were before Roe v Wade. The difference may be that those who hae the means to go somewhere else for the procedure might be bolder about thumbing their noses at others who aren't so lucky.

Partially, yes.

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I believe the abortion pill (which currently is for pregnancies 10 weeks or less, although now they're trying it on 11 weeks),'and online ordering are going to be major factors in defying these bans. The majority of these abortions are now done by pill.

90+ percent of abortions are done in the first trimester. I would think eventually, developers in Europe or blue states will improve the pills enough to cover that trimester.

Our government struggles to contain illegal drugs. Do you really think they're going to be able to check packages for abortion pills that are being sent from blue states or from other countries? Oh, they'll try, and eventually try to have someone arrested. But let's say they try to arrest a Jewish doctor from California who is shipping pills to women in Texas and the doctor says his religious belief and conscience say it's OK, and besides, California tells Texas to go fork themselves with extradition efforts.

This war is lonnngggg from being over. One side thinks it is because they finally won a big battle. But there's a lot more fighting to go.
