Cardinals win five conseucutive games and are in first in the NL Central. For now.

Sierra looks like the real deal, so I don't expect Fowler to play out his five-year contract with St. Louis.

Not so sure about that ... Altherr's BABIP is at about .420 right now. Assuming that drops 100 points or so, his BA is going to fall to around .250 and I doubt he's a 40-HR guy like he's on pace for now. Unless he changes his swing, he seems destined to be a .250 hitter with 15-20 HRs.

Altherr 2 for 4, two homers, four RBI today. On the other hand, Phils' bullpen gave up eight earned runs in three innings. So Silver Shadow has the small sample size evidence in favor of his argument today. I don't know about Altherr, but I'm pretty sure the bullpen will keep on sucking.

That's what my research indicated, too. High BABIP. Too much trouble with certain pitches. But I don't think he'll suck. I just expect a regression.
