Just got around to watching the show and I enjoyed it and I'll probably keep watching it. The overnight ratings for the show were OK but not fantastic. The fact that the show couldn't hold its audience in the second half hour is a bad sign, I think.

From Zap2it.com...
At 10 p.m., the season premiere of "CSI: Miami" scored the night's biggest audience with an 11.2/17. "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" averaged a decent 8.6/14 for NBC but lost a significant number of viewers in its second half-hour. ABC was third with "Supernanny," 4.8/8.

These ratings mean zilch with the 60 pilot having been out in public through a major distributor for a month.

I wish NBC would move it to Tuesdays for a L&O:CI, L&O:SVU and Studio 60 trifecta. Because there isn't anything on at 8 p.m. Tuesday nights worth watching. (Sorry Deal or No Deal fans.)

Uh ... "House"?

Sorry, forgot that one. But I never have watched it ... or any of the 24s.

I love CI (Vincent eps)... but last night was bizarre, Bogosian is the new chief and he tells Eames that he has been told Goren thinks too much. Where the heck would that come from? He has solved every forking case.

It sounds like the show planted audience polling into teh script as an excuse to have DOnofrio running around last night.

He was out of his element last night, and I didn't like it.

I still wish Lee Ermey would do a guest shot.

SVU?

The half episode with Stabler and half with Benson and then having here go on assignment out of state.... it's forking insane.

I don't even think I will watch next week.

Show dumped a pretty devoted customer. Not easy to do.

just watched it on tivo last night. i agree with the criticism of amanda peet. what the fork was the deal with 12 shots of that idiotic grin? and why the fork was she wearing a dress as big as a rain poncho and a trenchcoat in about half the scenes? she's on the show because she's a hottie. i'm not saying she has to wear something too skimpy but let's at least show that she has a nice figure.

NBC just confirmed that she's pregnant, so that's probably gonna be a problem about mid-season or so.

Columbo, I didn't care for that either. But then my wife told me Hargitay was about eight months pregnant when that episode was shot. So she was written out of the next six episodes because she missed filming for the birth.

Nah, many have been able to shoot episodes while pregnant ... many camera tricks to use.

Re: Studio 60 premiere (spoilers)

Well, it's probably a pretty safe bet they've shot the majority of the 24 or so shows that they're going to do this season... For a show this big, I'm guessing they were picked up for the full season even before the first show aired... With Sorkin attached, I'm betting that was a given...

Plus, in addition to Hargitay, they also shot around Leah Remini's pregnancy on King of Queens last season...

Re: Studio 60 premiere (spoilers)

I missed the first episode - didn't know it was on so I couldn't tape it. What night/time does it air.

Re: Studio 60 premiere (spoilers)

Bravo is reairing it either tonight or tomorrow.

I figured they'd shoot around her, I was referring more specifically to leo's desire to have her wear skimpier clothing.

Re: Studio 60 premiere (spoilers)

I enjoyed it. I really like Brad Whitford, although he was a big of an arse on Ellen the other day.
I didn't have a problem with the dark, as someome referenced earlier, however I did have a little bit of hard time hearing the dialogue, but that may be due to my old age.
