My wife wondered if that was the worst monologue of all-time. It's certainly in consideration, such as it is.

I mean I was once working on a two-minute bit on the show Moonshiners and what bullshit it is so I get it. Difference is I was doing it in a half-empty comedy club and not live on network television.

My wife had no idea who Shane Gillis is. She was dumbfounded during the entire monologue and she was even more baffled when I explained that this was a popular comic in some circles and not a TikTok star that somehow got booked on SNL.

Mike Myers was great playing the weirdo ketamine addict.

Outside of the monologue, it was a pretty solid show. I thought Coupla Beers was good, as well as Dad's House. Update was good not great. The midday news sketch was pretty funny and hit on pretty subversive topic.

Pure Sarah Sherman with the coupon sketch in the wedding setting. That was funny.

The monologue/standup was painful.

In that part, Shane Gillis was the Dane Cook of Lt. Hauks.

That was the worst "musical" guest I've seen in forever. God almighty, her little girl voice is awful and off putting.

Didn't really get the sketch with Gaga and Heidi as flappers, but a pretty harmless first half of the show leading up to Update.

I like they now have dueling film crews between the Destroy guys and the Saturday Afternoon Specials.
