So a few people just left their phones on the counter, you accidentally picked one up and put it in your pocket even though you already had your phone on you, then never thought to check when it was clear someone was missing a phone?
And this administrator not only knew to ask you, but knew the exact pocket to ask you to check?
I'm changing my answer - I think you did try to steal the phone.
You're not a thief.
Habitual maker upper of tales . . . ?
But did you already your phone on you?I saw a few other phones on the counter and asked the guy if they were his. He said they weren't.
I was kind of focused on the game and that's why I didn't notice anything.
They don't know me, so I guess it's understandable. My editor has my back. I'm not going to lose any work. I'm even getting paid for this game.
The guy who threw me out owes me an apology.
Because every single aspect of this scenario is forked up to begin with.
Who in the forking world accidentally picks up and pockets someone else's cell phone, when they already have theirs on them?
