Voices in music that irritate you

Eddie Murphy in "Party All the Time"

I'm guessing that's pretty universal, though.

I dig Macy Gray. She's pretty much the only current R&B person I dig.
I despise Eddie Veder's flat voice.
I can't stand Bon Iver.
Still hate the little guy from Bronski Beat.

M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold), but only in certain instances. When he's loud or in a higher register, it works. When he dips into a lower register, I now immediately switch stations.

Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day) in all instances. I especially despise everyone who tries/has tried to copy his vocal style.

DJ Clue, because if you heard his voice in an intro, you knew you downloaded a shirtty remix where you would hear more of his voice. :D

Lately? Rihanna. Just driving in the car, and one of her newer songs came on. It literally hurt my ears. I felt a little sick. Her early stuff like Pon de Replay? Love that song. WTF is happening? Is it the drugs?

The opposite of this for me lately is Ryan Tedder. If somebody's voice could be my shower water........

The lead singer of Sugarland tops my list. God, that voice is so twangy it's like claws on a chalkboard.
