Got the shock of my life last month. There's a Cumberland Farms in Gulf Shores, Ala. Still kinda regret not stopping to see what it's about.

It may not. I just thought it was strictly a New England thing. We get Yankees on the Redneck Riviera, but usually from the Midwest.

I came across a Cumberland Farms in Texas about a decade ago. Driving from San Antonio to Dallas up 281 (because everyone raved about the scenery). Unfortunately gasoline options were pretty light in spots along the way, and I was almost running on fumes when I pulled into one.
