Nice.

I am very glad you had a great trip.

I should have suggested tuning into WNRN (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WNRN) while you were driving through the state, but that sounds like an awesome trip.

Maybe Jones should have moved here. [/oldtimecrossthread]
Yeah, somebody mentioned tuning into the traffic station. I didn't worry about it too much. We were pretty good. The slow down occurred and probably added all of 5-minutes onto the drive. No biggie.

Overall, it really was fantastic. Lots of history. Lots. The other great aspect was the eats. The places we went had their own unique charm about them. They also made some great dishes.

Yes, I was the one that suggested WTOP. *sigh*

I did not think you would have been heading back so late. What time did you start north?

Glad you had a nice trip. I was expecting a line from you to share a drink in the former Capitol of the Confederacy. Oh well, maybe next time.

It was around 3:30 pm that we left from Michie Tavern. We walked in the house around 9:30pm.

I was hoping to do so on Saturday but I couldn't get my wife to commit fully to timing. I figured to hit Capital Ale House on Saturday but wasn't sure of the time. I didn't want to open up an invite and have people just waiting around. I'm just not that important.

I was hoping to do so on Sunday, but we were just so drained that sleep was more pertinent.

Well maybe you will give Richmond a second visit someday.

There are many things on the list you still need to hit.
