I don't like the expansive definition of "troll." I think it's dismissive and reduces people to a single-trait cartoon character while letting yourself off the hook from having to defend anything.

I think you don't like that expansive definition because it fits some of what you do on this board. To be clear, it isn't all you do, but you do it often enough that you have earned having the word tossed in your direction on occasion.
