I've listened to a lot of folk music in my time, and I'll be damned if this isn't as close to the perfect folk song as it gets:

Kavinsky is the credited musician. One of the guys from Daft Punk is the other musician. It's part of the Drive soundtrack

On my sixth listen or so of the new Father John Misty. It was so subdued at first that I wasn't sure I liked it, but it's really growing on me. This particular song has some Baker Street vibes to it. Seeing him in Richmond in September.

It really is a grower. I did not dig it for a good 10 listens. Now really into it.

Arcade Fire releases its first album in five years. Five listens in and I already know it is better than Everything Now. It's not a high bar to clear.

Was interested in the Peter Gabriel cameo, but it turns out to be the worst song on the album.
