I'll never understand how a receiver (in this case a tight end) can just run straight to a spot in the end zone, turn around and be open enough to catch a TD pass.
Speed is not a factor. Putting a move on a defender is not a facor. How can a defense allow that?
Those things are factors, though. It basically amounts to, almost any receiver can get open for a second or two when they make their move. The difference is the quarterback being able to know exactly when that is going to happen and delivering the ball 20 or 30 yards down the field to have it arrive in that one or two seconds before the DB recovers.
